Not sampling temperature. sky is quality vs cost: 0 = free local blessed Ollama/llama.cpp on a compute node; 1 = frontier (Anthropic-class via OFOX, OpenRouter fallback). Ethics and child-safety stays pinned high — never a local judge.

Not hash proof-of-work. Proof of useful work: host a blessed model, pass heartbeat, serve sky≈0 traffic → mint CongoGold (earned credit + reputation, not a token). Redeem that credit to draw sky-mid / sky-frontier on flagged premium providers. Everyone in the value chain eats.
The mesh rates itself: quality (success rate), speed (latency vs target), trust (blessed × blend − failure streak). Low-trust nodes drop out of sky-local routing. Highest trust wins the next free call.
Where possible, PII never reaches an LLM. SkyRouter runs the estate pii-firewall: tokenize → watcher fail-closed → brain sees GUID tokens only → rehydrate locally. Same doctrine as Oceanpath / POPIA posture — defence in depth, not a claim of perfection on free-form names.
